Rosewood was born in 1979, when a historic property in Dallas, Texas, named The Mansion on Turtle Creek, was retrofitted into a hotel and restaurant that gained worldwide renown for its outstanding quality and service.

Unlike other luxury hospitality operators, the Rosewood brand creates distinguished experiences by thinking of its new properties an art, not a science of standardization.
