HOTEL ROSEWOOD SÃO PAULO

The majestic and historic Matarazzo Maternity building is now home to the first Rosewood Hotels & Resorts facility in South America.

Interiors created by renowned designer and artistic director Philippe Starck unite the history of the building’s exteriors and grounds with environments meticulously planned out by top creatives in the field. Unique materials of only the highest quality are sourced from within Brazil and perfected by the country’s most talented craftsmen. Spaces carefully drawn out to exude elegance, refinement and sophistication, now receive the top-notch hospitality expertise of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.

Two restaurants, including one located on a veranda overlooking the lush hotel gardens, will be complemented by both a jazz bar and a caviar lounge. Recreational facilities will include two swimming pools — one rooftop pool and the other set amongst the landscaped grounds — as well as a large spa and fitness area. Hotel guests and Suite owners will also be able to access an adjoining music studio, screening room, and luxury retail stores within the development.

The property will offer 100,000 square feet of event and meeting space, including a wedding chapel for special occasions.

Each Rosewood Hotel embraces the brand’s A Sense of Place® philosophy, which is geared towards reflecting each particular location’s history and culture. The Rosewood collection includes some of the world’s most legendary hotels and resorts, including The Carlyle, in New York, and Hôtel de Crillon, in Paris.

This new six-star hotel, launched in partnership with Groupe Allard, is the first in Latin America. Rooms and Suites will be distributed between the Matarazzo Maternity’s historic main building and the new tower projected by Jean Nouvel, one of the highest regarded architects in the current global scene.
